Hello!

It has been forever since I've written anything. I'm just going to make it short and simple. Life has been crazy! We rented out our home, to move down to Provo. Victor is going to school and working full time. Hailey is now in kindergarten...which blows my mind how big she is! She is very bright, loving, and beautiful girl! Haden is now in his first year of preschool, and he is totally loving it! He is always talking about his teachers Mrs Midge, and Miss Jill. I am now pregnant with our 3rd child, and couldn't be happier! I have been ready to have another, and now the time is here. I am 14 weeks and 4 days today! I have not gotten very sick, just nauseous at night which is weird?! My belly is now popping out, which I am excited about, but it is kind of the awkward stage where people wonder if you are a little pudgy, or pregnant. LOL I am happy with life right now, and loving my family!!!

Mexico Part II

It's so amazing to me how people live down in Mexico. I feel so blest to have the things that I do...it seriously made me look at everything so differently. Middle class people do not have carpet, a car, and they have more than one family living in one home. They work so hard to have just a tiny bit of money to feed their families. My eyes have opened up to the real world!

We stopped in victors old neighborhood that he grew up in. It is very torn down with grafitti everywhere! I could not believe it! This white building was his grandparents home, where his mother took care of them in their last days, so they lived with them. We visited a lady next door who has lived their almost her whole life! She is 107 years old! It was crazy?!

We got to stop at the temple on our last day. It was beautiful! It was weird that we had to show our temple recommends just to be on temple grounds, but it's understandable that people could vandalize.

Victor and I are going to start sending clothes down there to help people out cause their clothes are like double or tripple the price down there! I love my life, and am so grateful for EVERYTHING I have, I wouldn't change a thing in the world!

Mexico Trip

From Movies

Our trip to Guadalajara, Mexico was so much fun! First we went straight to Victors moms house, that is her back yard that we are in at first. We went to the walmart and there was a nacho libre cart that I just HAD to take a picture of. I non stop thought of that movie cause they sounded just like the one in the movie! Also the kids didn't have their carseats cause they don't require them out there so the kids took turns sitting in the front seat with whoever was up there. They LOVED it! We walked to the park with Jose and his dog Chuckie...who is VERY spoiled! Jose was putting the kids on the slide, and his dog got so jealous that he wanted to go down the slide...so he did! Rediculous huh?
One day we took a trip to Mancenillo where we went to the beach. That is the picture of our hotel that was really cheap! We paid $100 for two rooms that had two beds for one night...and not to mention...on the beach! We had an awesome time, the water was so warm...perfect! Later on we went to a sea food resteraunt that was on the beach. Victors brother and Haden got a long so well...they were best pals the whole time! He taught him some funny faces that Haden loves to do. Then all of a sudden this guys rides up on his horse asking if we wanted to go horse back riding...$10 for a half an hour...I told Victor to do it! He took Hailey first, and she LOVED it! Haden on the other hand was VERY jealous and watched them about the whole time! We split up the time between them both, then his uncle Jose took him for his turn. We left the next day back to Guadalajara.
Another night Victors mom, Claudia (his brothers girlfriend), and I went to play Bingo...they call it lottery with the women next door. They were hesitant towards me cause they thought that I was some stuck up white girl who was better than them, but after getting to know me they were suprised to find that I was the total opposite! We had a ton of fun! Victors mom was getting so mad cause she didn't win ONE game...and Claudia seemed to win almost every single one!

We also went to many markets...which was one of my favorite things to do there! There are so many cool things that you see! I loved our trip, and want to go back as soon as we can!

Sickos!

Well, where do I begin...about 4 weeks ago we went to Mexico to visit Victors family. The night before we left, I was rushing to get everything done with packing...when all of a sudden the stomach flu decides to rush up on me!! I was praying that it would go away by the time we got on the plane, because that would not have been pleasant for the people sitting next to the bathroom! Well, my prayer was answered! I felt better, and was ready for the long day of travel...I still felt crumby! Well, our trip was so much fun! I cannot wait to go back!

When we got back from out trip, something horrible happened! We were sick!! I must have eated or drank something that was not sanitary...and we were REALLY careful!! Everytime I would eat something, it went right through me within about 5-10 min I was running to the bathroom! Well with all of this happening I had a doctors appointment to hear the babys heartbeat...the appointment turned out that they could not find a heartbeat, so they sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound. They wanted to see for sure what was going on. I at that point knew that the baby was gone. I have been through it before, and if they don't find it in the office, they are not going to find it on the ultrasound. As I am laying there getting the ultra sound done, it is just pure silence! I could see the baby not moving...and the nurse kept putting the pointer on it, but it was just flatlining. They said the baby looked about 7 weeks old and I was nine weeks along. I knew it...and so did Victor. We were both so disappointed. I was so looking forward to this new being!

Well, the day after I found myself very depressed and sick(mostly from the bacteria that I caught in mex). Victor came home and immediately called the doctor telling him that I was very sick...the doctor said to come in right away. Once I got there he hooked me up to an iv, telling me that I was VERY dehydrated! After about an hour and a half on it, I got to go home...feeling much better...and with a perscription to get rid of the stupid sickness!! He also told me the risks of the perscription he wanted to give me to get the miscarriage going. He told me that I would be in a lot of pain, but I was ready for it. I do not like the thought of a dead being inside of me.

I took the medicine, and got it going. It was so hard to deal with...thank goodness I have good friends and family to turn to! Then, since my blood type is RH- I have to get a shot when I am pregnant, or if I have a miscarriage. This shot hurts like heck! Really stings! I was so relieved once the whole process was over. I am sad, but happy for it to be over with!

Once I think things are going back to normal, we got hit up with the flu! My little Hailey has been sick since last Friday! We ended up taking her in on monday night because she was not getting better and was starting to say that her ears were hurting...poor thing has two ear infections and a horrible cough! We are recouperating, and hoping to see better days!

A couple weekends ago our neighbors took us to the demolition derby here in spanish fork. It was so much fun! It gives you a rush! It makes me want to do it next year!! We had such a good time and look forward to going next year!

My 23rd Birthday!

I don't know why, but this year I feel very much older! I had an awesome birthday though. Victor had my sisters come over in the morning and make me breakfast which was very yummy! Then we went shopping for a little bit, then off to get facials! It felt amazing!! After that I went home to meet victor to go to dinner at tucanos (a very good brazillian restaraunt!). Then victor took me on a shopping spree and let me get my nails done! It felt so good to be pampered! Especially with no kids around! Later on he invited friends and family over for cake and icecream. It was an awesome birthday and it wouldn't have been the same without my loving husband!

Sorry it's been so long, but our old computer wouldn't stay on longer than 15 min. So now we have a new computer, and here I am uploading old pictures. This past may my grandparents came and visited from Erie, PA. Mostly for my brother Richards graduation, which went really well. Victors nephew also graduated, so we went to that too. It was really nice having my grandparents here. Noone wanted them to leave...including me.

Then there are a few pictures of a little of our summer fun so far. We have went to feed the ducks, and we go to seven peaks(a swimming park) at least once a week. It is so much fun, and the kids love it!! Just click on the box above and it will link to all of my pictures from these occassions!

Last night when we got home, I checked the mail...and there it was...a package for Hailey and Haden from grandma and grandpa!! They are so sweet sending the great grandkids valentines and candy!! Hailey was thrilled. She kept thanking me and Victor for it, and I kept telling her it was from her grandparents. She kept saying over and over..."Valentines mommy!!". Even Haden enjoyed his...so much that he took a huge bite out of it, and got so mad when I took it from his mouth. Thank you grandma and grandpa!! Happy Valentines Day!!

Fabians Birthday Dinner

This past weekend, we went Carrabas to dinner for my sister Tanyas husbands birthday. There were so many people there!! The food was soooo good!! That's always a good time for me.

The Circus!

Last Monday night we went to the circus. The only sad thing was that Victor couldn't come. He was on his weird swing shift, so that was a bumber. Rach was willing to come with me to help with the kids and have a killer time! We really did have a good time. When we first got there, they were giving pony and elephant rides. When the show started, they had all the lights out...that is when I took that picture of Hailey looking terrified!! I was laughing so hard when I actually saw the picture because I couldn't even see her face in the dark. Haileys favorite part was when the tigers did a show. It was so cute! Then, at the half time, we took a picture with the bear. Of course the had a piece of glass between us, but I still thought it was pretty cool. We had a great time!!

Girls Night Out!!

A few weeks ago, one of my old friends, Lindsey that used to do my hair when I was in high school came into town to visit from Florida. My girl Jessica called me and asked me if I could leave the kids with Victor for a girls night out to dinner. Of course Victor being the wonderful husband he is...stayed with the kids. We went to red robin...yummy!! It was a good time, and boy was it nice to get a night without the kids, but I missed them tons!!

Nas Concert

Saturday night we had the opportunity to go see one of Victors favorite rappers of all time!! Nas! We also got to see N.E.R.D. perform, but we really didn't like them. Victors niece, Karla (the one who is in the pictures with us) her boyfriend owns the club, Harryo's in Park City. She got us up in the VIP section up top! It was awesome. Since the Sundance film festival was going on, they had performers all week. We chose to go to this one! Now if it weren't for Nas coming...I would never go to a club. It was not our scene at all! After the concert Karla told us that we probably wouldn't be able to take a picture with him or anything...but she said that she would see what she could do. All of a sudden she was signaling for us to come down...so we hurried down, and only one person was aloud to go in so of course Victor went! He was so happy! He couldn't even believe that he even got to shake hands with him, let alone take a picture. It was a great night!

Richies Banquet!

A couple Saturdays ago, Rich had his football banquet, and I was honored to have gone with him. His team was unbeatable. They won every single game through the season! Go Timpview!! He received a plaque with his picture and team picture on it. I'm really proud of him!

Robbies Visit

My cousin Robbie came out to Utah for the first time at the beginning of this month. We had a lot of fun with him here. We took him to all the good spots to eat...especially wingers!! We also got to take him to the most beautiful part of Utah...Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Robbie is so funny he kept us laughing the whole time he was with us. We love you Robbie!!

Christmas Day was so much fun for Hailey! She really understood Santa! Right when she got up she saw her bike Santa brought for her...she was so excited! Then, we headed over to grandpas for breakfast. We had a lot of fun there. Then, we went over to grandmas and had dinner over there . It was a good day!

Christmas eve

Christmas Eve my dad and his wife Kathy were shopping all day long, because they had just gotten here from California, and hadn't done any of their shopping. That night, me and my sisters Ginene and Rachel went to go look for a tree! We went to about five different places, and they either had no more trees or they were closed. So finally we found this actual tree business where they sell all kinds of different trees. We knocked on the door and this nice Mexican guy came out and told us that they had some trees left, and that we could go a head and just take one. He was so nice! He came out in a short sleeved shirt in the snow, and stood trees up for us to look at, and carried the one that we wanted all the way to our car, and strapped it down for us!! We knew we had to give him something, especially for everything that he had done for us. We gave him a 10 dollar tip...that he didn't want to take, but we forced it. We were so happy to have not only found a tree, but someone nice enough to help us!

Me, my sisters, and my nieces and nephew all came over to my old apartment to make Christmas cookies. It was a lot of fun to get together not only to make cookies, but to hang out! Hailey and Carlitos had their own thing going on...taking turns pulling each other in the sled. We had a lot of fun.

Haileys first sledding experience!

Victor and I were so excited to be able to take Hailey sledding this year, and were also very surprised by Haileys reaction! She absolutely hated it! Her and Victor only went down once, and it was time to go. She was screaming and crying because all of the fresh snow was winding her in the face. I guess you can never predict if your kids will enjoy!

I love my little kiddies. They are very stressful at times, but they are just so much fun too! I swear at least once a day Hailey says something that just has me laughing my head off! Haden is just a bundle of joy with all of his smiles! I am so grateful for my kids!

New Home!!

A few days before Christmas we signed for our first home! We didn't actually move into it until the 2nd of January, but we are so happy! Never did we ever think that we would be in a home this early in life, but boy does it feel good!! This is our 4 bedroom 3 bath home with a tv room, a family room, kitchen, dining room, and two car garage. We are so blessed to be able to have the things that we do, and especially the job that Victor has. He is such a good provider for our family, and I am so grateful for him! There it is...our beautiful home!

Santa Claus and the Train!

This Past Christmas season we took Hailey and Haden to see Santa Claus at our local mall!! I was really scared of what Hailey was going to think about sitting on a strangers lap....but she was totally fine. I think she really got the point of Santa this year. After a few pictures Hailey got nervous and wanted mommy...then all of a sudden Santa gave her a coloring book, and she was all better. Haden just kept staring at him wondering who he was. Later on in the week I went shopping with my mom and she told Hailey if she was good that she could take the train ride that rode around Santa Claus. Hailey was horrible...but of course grandma has to give her little girl whatever she wants! Hailey acted like such a big girl. I thought for sure that she wouldn't go on the train without one of us, but I was totally wrong. She went on it and then once it was time to get off, she didn't want any help. My little girl is growing up so fast!

5 Months!!

My beautiful little Haden is 5 months as of November 24th. He is such a big boy!! He is 15 lbs now...can you believe that?! He loves to play with his big sister, eat, and play with his toy rings. He is such a good boy. Sleeping through the night...well he wakes up at 6 in the morning to eat, then goes back to sleep till about 9. I love it!!! His first tooth broke though just a week ago. Don't even ask how long and difficult it was when he was going through the process of getting that tiny tooth! It was the worst! But I don't blame him...it probably hurts like heck!! My little 5 lb 15 oz baby is gone...he's becoming my big boy now!!

Disney on Ice!!

A few weeks ago, Victor and I took Hailey to see disney on ice. It was our night out with her alone. She was in awe that all of her favorite characters were there. She would not take her eyes off! I kept calling her name and asking her if she was having a good time. She wouldn't even look at me, and she said, "no". Obviously she was too hooked to the show. After the show, we bought her a Bell doll from Beauty and the Beast. All the way home she cuddled it, then when we got home she was asleep gripping her doll. Everyday since, we get into the car and she asks if we're going to disney on ice! She's funny! We were so glad that we got to spend that time with her, and especially see how happy it made her!

House shopping

Well, the offer didn't go through. The guy was a total jerk and counter offered more than the house is priced at! He is crazy!! That just shows us that, that place just wasn't for us. So... we are still looking. We have only found homes that we really like in Spanish Fork...so who knows?! We're going to look at some homes today...so we'll see. Wish us luck!

Buying A Home!!

Victor and I are really excited! We went just last week to see if we could get pre approved for a loan...and we did!! We've been looking for a house...and I think we have a winner. It's here in Provo, and I am super excited about it! We are putting our offer in today, and if they accept, we'll be moving by the end of the year. Seems so soon, but I am so excited not to be wasting our money on rent any more! We'll be putting it towards our own house!! It's a totally remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home. Perfect for what we want and need!! Keep us in your prayers and cross your fingers that we'll get it!!

Double date!

Saturday night Victors best friend, Hugo and his wife, Brittany invited us to go see the Odyssey Dance group at Kingsbury hall up at the U. It was an awesome show! It was called Thriller. The dancers there were amazing! Victor was not too happy during the show, because someone behind him had killer breath or as he said, "dragon breath"! Ha ha! I felt really bad, but I didn't want to give up my seat to smell it, so I just gave him my pack of gum to sniff on. I'm so mean! We really had a good time...or at least I did. After the show, we went to the Cheesecake Factory. It was soooo good!
Victor and Hugo have been friends since they were kids, and they still act like kids when they are together. They are really fun to be around, because it is constant laughs! It was so nice to have a night out without the kids! Thanks for babysitting Rach!!

Kids at grandpa and Kathys!

Every single day, Hailey wants to see grandpa and Kathy. Right when we get to their house, Hailey automatically wants to color, read books, or play with whatever Kathy has for her. I always worry that Kathy is going to get irritated with her... I don't know why, but Hailey doesn't bother her! While we were there, we got to see our little chihuahua...princess! Rachel brought her over to dads house. I'm glad that we have Dad and Kathy around to hang out with. We love having them here with us in Utah!!

Halloween!!

The night before Halloween we carved our pumpkins. Victor did a zombie and the jack o lantern, and I did the witch. It was a lot of fun, and they actually turned out looking pretty cool. Then, that same night I was invited to a kids Halloween party, and I took the kids. Hailey had a lot of fun playing with her friend, and getting candy.
Halloween day my niece Jailena has a Halloween parade every year, so we went to that. Hailey and Carlitos jumped in the parade, it was pretty funny. Later on we of course went trick or treating. We went with my sister and her kids. Jailena was a fairy, Carlitos was buzz light year, Alanis was a bunny, Hailey was Snow white, and of course Haden was Dopey (one of snow whites dwarfs). I never dress up, so this year I decided to be a witch. We wanted Hailey to go with her cousins so that she could get the concept of it all. So, we approached the first house...Hailey went up there and when they put candy in her little princess bucket, she turns around and screams, "mommy..daddy...candy!!" She could not believe it was that easy to get candy from people! As we walked around the neighborhood she kept saying over and over..."stinky feet...stinky feet" Finally I asked her, "Hailey are your feet stinky?" and she told me, "No mommy stinky feet!". Then I got it, she was saying trick or treat!! Ha ha! I was laughing so hard! Either she thought the kids were saying stinky feet, or she just couldn't say it right. She had a blast, and it was the perfect night for Halloween!
When we were all done trick or treating, we decided to go over to my dads place. Hailey loves his wife Kathy! She's her best friend! Ginene and her boyfriend John were on their way out the door, when Victor used Haileys Snow white wig as a mullet. It was hilarious! So Victor and John were being goofy and taking pictures together. After a long night, we went home and knocked out!! It was a long and good day.

Rachels Competition!

My little sister Rachel is on the Timpview ballroom team, and they had a competition against the other high schools here in Utah and they won first place!! We were all really excited...especially Hailey. She loved all the dancing. So during a practice song, Rach took her out on the dance floor and danced with her. She had a blast!

Hee Haw Farm

Saturday we went to the Hee Haw Farm. We got to do a lot of fun activities! First we went on the big slide, it was actually really scary! Then, we went in these cute little carts painted as animals, and there was a tractor pulling all of them through a corn maze. We also went on a trick or treat hay ride that took us to a pumpkin patch where they gave us 15 min to pick our pumpkins. We got to see the animals and feed them. Hailey was crazy about the goats! We had a blast!!

Sleepy

The other night at dinner Hailey didn't want to eat her dinner, so we kept telling her that she had to eat just a little then she could get down, but boy is she stubborn! She would rather sit there than eat. So, she was sitting there for so long, that she finally fell asleep! It was so funny! Her poor little head kept bobbing. I decided to try to wake her, and she wasn't very happy! So, asked her if she wanted to watch a show that she really likes, and it worked!!

Victor is such a good daddy, and the kids love to be with him! Especially lately. Hailey has been feeling really jealous lately. Whenever I sit next to Victor to watch a movie or tv show, she yells at me and says, " my daddy". It is really cute. She loves her daddy!

We were out to lunch, and Hailey decided that she didn't want any pictures taken of her. It was really funny, because she kept saying over and over, "No pictures! No pictures!" Like she is some celebrity! Me and my sister took a picture to show Hailey that it's not so bad, but she still didn't want them taken!

Haileys Hair cut

Hailey got her hair cut on Monday. She really needed one! Her hair was starting to look really straggly and stringy, so I had her hair cut into all one length to her shoulders. I was so surprised that she stayed still. She was all staring at herself in the mirror like she was being pampered. She is so funny!

My bro Richards homecoming

Friday night was my brother Richards football game for Timpview Highs homecoming. Rich is a Senior starting wide receiver. This is him and his girlfriend Kristen after the game. Hailey can't say her name, so calls her princess which is hilarious! Then Sat. night they stopped at my moms to take some pictures. They all looked so nice! Then, Ginene's boyfriend John jumped in and took a picture with Richie, and we were all laughing so hard because in this picture it totally looks like he is wearing Richards flower!

After the duck pond - play time

Hailey started running for the playground after feeding the ducks. She loves the outdoors. I don't know what we'll do when it gets really cold! I guess we'll just have to bundle up good! Anyways we had fun. I tried to do the monkey bars, and boy was that hard. When your a kid you can hold your weight a lot better than when you are all grown up. I challenged Victor to try and he fell off when he did the first bar! He couldn't even believe that I could go all the way across and he could only do a couple! Then, Hailey and him started doing this weird wiggly thing that you stand on. Hailey almost fell off! I love our outings as a family, it's a lot more fun than when I just take the kids!

Feeding the ducks!

Monday for family home evening we went to the park where there is a duck pond. Hailey loves this park! We brought grandma Maria along for the evening, and Hailey had a blast. She doesn't know how to break up the bread, so she would be giving the ducks whole pieces of bread they didn't mind, but they were pecking and honking at each other. We had a lot of fun. Haden was a good sport just sitting in his carseat that he totally hates, but he was such a good boy!!

Hailey loves her little brother Haden. She started sharing her stuff early on. It's so sweet! ~Yeah by the way, this is not his blanket. lol. That is Haileys too!

Boyz II Men!

Me, mom, my two sisters Ginene and Tanya, my sister in law Carolina, and our friend Ruth all went to the Boyz II Men concert. It was so much fun!! We got tickets early on and got 3rd and 4th row seats! I have not had that much fun in so long! My mom was going crazy, dancing on chairs! People behind us were laughing and trying to imitate her because she was so hilarious. She even made her way up to the stage and managed to get a rose from one of them! We were all so jealous. They were awesome in concert. They sound just like how they did forever ago! What a night! I will remember forever!

Hadens baby blessing

Haden on his blessing day. It was an amazing day. Victor blessed our beautiful little boy. A lot of our family and friends came to share this special day with us! I think this is the only picture of all the grandchildren together...ever! Oh boy what it took for all of them to sit in this picture! Then, they were naturally playing choo choo train, and it was adorable! It turned out really well though. I'm so happy to have the beautiful little family that we do! It was a great day!

Starting the Blog

I just started this new blog and I really don't know how to use it, but here we go... Victor and I have been happily married now for 3 and a half years. We have two kids, Hailey who is 2 years old, and Haden who is 3 months. They are our pride and joy. Hailey has been talking so much just these last few months. Saying things that I don't even know where she learned it! Haden is my little smiley boy. He is my morning sunshine. Every morning when I wake up, he is just laying right there next to me smiling!! I love our little family!
